The X-T2 has just landed in my lap, brought in by the fairy Fuji distributer.
Lucky me, it came with the 18-55mm f/2.8-4 and the 56mm f/1.2 APD, so I’ll have a good chance to take it through its paces and see what Fuji has been up to since the magnificent X-T1 came out and rocked the manual photographer’s world. You can read my review of the X-T1 here.
I’m keen to find out what this kit can do, taking into account that it costs close to $2000, not to mention the 56mm which adds another $1200 to the mix. That’s some hefty equipment in my bag right now, but is it worth all that much money? I’ll have all the answers soon, as I write my full review, so stay tuned.
Here’s a first shot with the 56mm f/1.2 APD –
Unfortunately the photographee wasn’t keen on having his photo published, so I had to blur him out – showing now only the crazy sharpness and detail levels at the center:
Fujifilm X-T2 & 56mm f/1.2 APD @ f/1.2, 1/950 sec, ISO 400
Fujifilm X-T2 & 56mm f/1.2 APD @ f/1.2, 1/950 sec, ISO 400 – 100% crop
More to come..
